Compass' dedicated faculty members love teaching film because they love making films.  All of our instructors have worked – and continue to work – in the film industry. Their combined experiences are broad and cover every inch of the filmmaking spectrum: producing, directing, editing, sound design, lighting, shooting, animation, script-writing... and they've even been the production assistants who make the coffee on set! These experiences ensure that our students' education is up-to-date and it also allows students to learn from our faculty's firsthand experience.
