Mission Statement: “To assist Compass College of Cinematic Arts Alumni in connecting, creating, and growing as filmmakers”

The Compass Alumni Association is a group of alumni that have volunteered to serve together to connect students and alumni in the greater filmmaking community.  Over the years, Compass has continued to grow and so have the alumni.  There are hundreds of alumni all over the country.  The Alumni Association has hosted the 24 Hour Film Festival in past years and continues to coordinate different opportunities like seminars, networking events, and collaborative film projects.

A benefit of becoming an alumnus of Compass is that you are welcomed into the family – A family of filmmakers that strives to create quality media.  The Alumni Association meets monthly to plan and coordinate different events throughout the year, along with being involved with the current students in their filmmaking learning experience.

The members of the Alumni Association believe that community is important, especially in the filmmaking world.  The association seeks to be a catalyst for students and alumni alike for networking, community, and collaboration.
